Organic Natural Foods are one of the foundations for Health and Wellness

Organic Foods are Naturals

Organic, natural, vegetarian foods in a healthy, life positive diet should be common sense, but it never is! We all know what is a good raw food diet but we tend to go for the foods we should avoid.

The "Diet"

First let's discuss promo diet fads, you know, the ones seen in the local media. Low carb, low fat, high protein, grapefruit diet, high carb; they have one thing in common--they have facts and testimonials to endorse them. We do not endorse these methods, although some individuals will achieve their desired result on their chosen one. It is of more significant benefits to be eating natural foods in an organic food daily menu, with the highest possible content of raw food diet, and then take supplements, used wisely, to assist your bodies needs.

Staying Out of Harms Way

Here are some basic principles that you can use to stay out of harms way.

1. Grain fed cattle, chicken, and farm raised fish. Todays meat, farmed fish and poultry products have an imbalance of Omega 3 versus Omega 6 fatty acids. The grass fed animals and free range chickens have more Omega 3 than Omega 6 fatty acids.Omega 3 fatty acid is the good one and should be present in your diet. The ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 should be 1:1 , check the food labels. This is where eating natural foods is of a tremendous benefit.

2. In general, raw food is best to eat, although if it is not organic it might be irradiated and thus have the nutrient value and enzymes destroyed(Our Organic Food Rule). In addition, cooking also results in varying degrees of difficulty in digestion, this puts stress on our health system.

3. A word on the ever popular soy products. They are best to be fermented, like tempeh, miso and soy sauce, otherwise they may not digest properly. The Chinese use fermented soy only in small quantities, it is not a food that lends itself to over-eating. Raw or unfermented soy products can lead to serious Thyroid problems. Also soy and corn are two of the most GMO related crops, so beware on this front as well.

What's Best for Us

Eating natural foods, that are organic raw food, is best for us. The pesticides and other chemicals in non-organic food can cause toxicity and a reduction in the antioxidants and nutrients available. These toxins are generally tested individually. However when combined with one another, a synergy develops because of their combined, co-ordinated attack. This can be more damaging than the already serious damage they can effect alone. Genetically Modified Foods(GMO) are presently most often found in soy and corn products. There appears to be no research that clearly says it is safe. In recent years there appears to be a rush by over-sight agencies to approve new products and procedures. One Professional Organization estimates that 50% of research is in error or eventually proven to be out-right wrong.

Use olive oil on salads, etc., butter and coconut oil for cooking. Stay clear of canola oil and polyunsaturated oils as they may depress the immune system. They are easily damaged by oxygenation. Microwaves are convenient but they destroy the nutrition in food by scrambling the molecules, thus making them undigestible. To prove a point, do this experiment. Water 2 plants of the same size, one with tap water and one with microwaved tap water that has been cooled, then watch the results over several weeks.

It takes time for toxins, chemicals, and other contaminants in the food we eat to effect our health. So it will take some time to remove them from our bodies while eating organic.
