Stress depression anxiety affects our health and well-being. Over 75% of all visits to health care practitioners are for complaints or disorders related to this affliction. Prolonged exposure results in irratability, tiredness, depression and anxiety. You have trouble sleeping, eating, headaches, high blood pressure and a host of other ailments. Eventually your energy reserves are exhausted. A group of Montreal medical researchers found that depressed post heart attack victims were 10 times more likely to die of another heart attack within less than 2 years. We know that anxiety and depression are not good for us, but what action can we take?

An Action Plan

Well first off, we work with our health care practitioner to understand any medication or therapy that is recommended. Then we should practise-AFFIRMATION-(sorry for shouting). When we say and do positive things, it matters, a lot. You can consider neutraceuticals such as L-Theanine, 5-HTP and SAMe. They help to give us relief. And exercise, but don't over-do it,to create an elevated feeling of wellness.
